AOA(에이오에이)는 대한민국의 8 인조 걸 그룹이다. FNC 엔터테인먼트 소속이며 멤버는 지민,초아 ,유나,유경,혜정,민아,설현,찬미로 구성되어 있다. 유닛 그룹으로는 지민,초아,유나,유경,민아로 구성된 밴드 유닛 AOA 블랙과 혜정,설현,찬미로 구성된 댄스유닛 AOA 화이트가 있다. 데뷔 후 흔들려 활동부터는 유경을 제외한 나머지 7명의 멤버로 구성하여 활동하고 있다. 유경은 객원 멤버로 AOA 블랙에서만 활동하기에 AOA의 하프엔젤로 부르고 있다.

The beautiful group AOA debuted in 2012 with their name standing for Ace Of Angels.

Information on each member was slowly revealed pre-debut, to tease the public. Featuring eight members, they're not your typical idol group being that the members can not only dance, but they also play instruments. Well, to be more accurate, AOA is made up of seven members plus a "half member", Yoo-kyung. Yoo-kyung plays the drums and she's called "half-angel/half-mortal" being that she's not a regular "full-angel" member.

The group's "story", shared with their debut single "Angels' Story" release, goes like this:
The seven "full-angel" members of AOA loked into their crystal ball and fell in love with the music of humanity. Yoo-kyung, the "half-angel/half-mortal", was also the key keeper, and she became curious to know more about the human world. So she used the key to visit the human world with the other angels.

For their second single album release "Wanna Be", the girls featured a different concept, all dressing up like different characters. The members Hye-jeong, Ji-min, Cho-a, Yoo-na, Chan-mi, Mina, Seol-hyun and Yoo-kyoung dressed as characters from Kill Bill, Léon, Legally Blonde, Tomb Raider, Harry Potter, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Romeo and Juliet, and The Fifth Element, respectively.

There's also a sub-unit group called AOA Black, consisting of five members.

AOA（朝鲜语：에이오에이）是韩国的一队女子流行音乐团体及舞蹈团体，为FNC娱乐旗下第一支女子团体，现任成员为智珉、草娥、酉奈、有庆、惠晶、抿娥、雪炫、澯美，由智珉担任队长。AOA是“Ace Of Angels”的简写，成员们都有着一个天使名字，而天使故事就是七位天使与连结地面之门的钥匙持有者，半天使Y发生的奇妙故事。七位天使经常透过水晶球看人类的世界，透过水晶球她们喜爱上了人类的音乐，忍不住好奇的Y，于是利用手上的钥匙，开启了地面之门，与七位天使来到地球。

AOA的出道单曲《Angels' Story》在2012年7月30日正式发行，主打歌为〈Elvis〉，并在8月9日的音乐节目《M! Countdown》正式公开演出。官方粉丝名称为“ELVIS”。而现场演出则会有两个版本，分别是乐团演出（五位成员参与）和舞蹈演出（七位成员参与）。

乐团部分的五位演出者被划分为子团AOA Black（AOA 블랙）；而另外三位则被划分为另一子团AOA White（AOA 화이트）
