Yoon Gun’s mix of smooth R&B and heartfelt, and often heartbreaking, ballads has charmed fans since he first debuted as a member of “Team” in 1999. He gained massive popularity as part of the duo “Brown Eyes” and released his self-titled solo album in 2003.
An accomplished pianist, Yoon has also composed many of the songs on his album, including the entirety of his second album, “Let’s Break Up.” The title track of the album was featured on the drama “A Sad Love Song.”
Though Yoon is most well-known for his ballads, he has dabbled with diverse genres such as hip-hop (collaborating with Australian female rapper Sapphire on “Bad Girl” and Korean duo Lee Ssang on “Everything”), Bossa Nova, oriental music and even electronica.
