Kim Wan-Sun burst on the music scene back in 1986 with her flamboyant stage presence and dance routine that was considered to be radical for that time. Never considered a strong vocal performer, she made up for it with her sexy moves and image that always supplied critics with ammo. An innovative choreographer, she never failed to amuse her peers. Later, she started to strengthen her weaker side, her vocal skills, which then cemented her place in the music genre as the original ‘Dance artist’, which later produced many of the similarly styled artists of today, such as Baek Ji-young.

After a successful domesticrun, she then moved her attention elsewhere, Taiwan in particular, and joined forces with many artists in the ‘Korean-Wave’ like Clone and Ahn Jae-wook. She acquired a status to prolong her legacy as a true ‘Dance artist’. She returned back to Korea a few years after and released a come back album ‘S&Remake’', continuing to surprise people with her innovative vision and promise that the end of Kim Wan-sun was nowhere near yet.

Around 2006, Kim left Korea and her entertainer status there to study at the University of Hawaii in Digital Art Studies. She later made a comeback in Korea with her first musical release in six years in April of 2011.
